![Date Ideas: Streb Pop-up Slam at McCarren Park
There’s a lot of synchronicity that happens in our lives. I first heard of the Streb dance company when Small Girls client ReFashioner had Streb dancers perform a boxing runway-walk off at Gleason’s Gym for their launch party.

We’ve watched videos of amazing Streb performances, as they are totally up Aaron’s alley, what with the dancing and the jumping and the flipping and such. So of course, when I discovered free Streb classes in McCarren Park on Flavorpill’s GEL (currently in invite-only beta), just a hop and a skip away from my office, I knew Aaron would be into it.

First dates are our favorite (having a great “first date”- turned 6 dates story of our own), so of course we reserved tickets for this last week. Wooo.
We can’t wait to hear about other people’s first dates on our ~65th ish date. :)
Addendum: Aaron cancelled. ~65th ish date not to be had, but all good bc Bianca is going with her non-gf instead. Still excited.
Adventure Dates: “I’m Down, if You’re Down” - An Impromptu Trip to Chicago
In a wave of spontaneity, Bianca’s love of music festivals, and Aaron’s love of Santigold and flying places, we booked a last minute trip to Chicago this weekend for Lollapalooza.
Aaron pulled through with the airline miles, and hopefully Bianca can pull through with getting into the festival despite our lack of passes.
Having no plan and gaining entry/backstage or VIP access at music things is sort of Bianca’s favorite game. Bianca’s crazy trip to SXSW in which she only booked a one-way flight with no place to stay, and ended up riding back on a prison bus turned tour bus with two bands was sort of a bonding story on our first date. Aaron had some similar traveling stories, though more of the international backpacking kind than the music festival kind. Oh hey, you like just doing things with no plan and just seeing where it goes?! SAMESIES. Something about setting yourself up for failure and having to work your way out of it.
At any rate, there will always be the parties and the after-parties to be had.
Bonus surprise: Bianca’s dating assistant is driving in from Wisconsin to meet us! We’re meeting Holly! Yeah!
