My Sunday started with waving bye to the beach and a train ride back to NYC, then turned into an awesome day adventure date.
- Taking a Bari Hybrid class in Soho via How About We Couples — trampolines and jumping/dancing around to pop songs = my kind of workout date
- Going for a motorcycle ride - i think i’m getting used to this whole holding on for my dear life driving around trucks and cars on the highway thing
- Stopping by The Great Swamp Wildlife Reserve
- Splitting an ice cream sundae at a diner

With Aaron’s work taking him to TX for most of the week, it was great to spend all of Sunday on a date adventure. We finally got a chance to take his bike out of winter storage from the beach house and ride it around- fitting a fun new workout class in between.
We’ve come a long way from those first motorcycle dates… with Bianca now finally having her very own motorcycle jacket and gloves. Next step = helmet. Woo!
A year ago last thursday Aaron tricked Bianca into going to Jersey City for the first time after creamsicle cocktails and Pinkberry.

Adventure Dates: 2013 MTV Movie Awards
The MTV Movie Awards happened to fall on our 1 year daterversary, and thanks to The Brady Center we got the chance to go! While neither of us had much time to go see any of the movies that were being presented, It made for a great year-end wrap-up with all of the clips they showed.
Rebel Wilson was hilarious, Aubrey Plaza got drunk and was escorted out of the premises, Bianca freaked out over the Fast & the Furious cast, and of course… there was that moment we were waiting for:

Taking it to the streets of Hollywood…
On the one year anniversary of our “dancing in the park first date”, Aaron and I found ourselves in LA.
To celebrate, we decided to take it to the streets of Hollywood. A year later the blackberry and mini amp have been replaced by an iPhone and jambox, my puma canvas sneakers by Portovelo shoes, and the cardboard on the ground by Hollywood stars.
There weren’t any kids to crash our dancing operation, though we did crash some actual street performers operations.
This is what happened on that date. Complete with an accidental Marilyn Monroe moment on the stairs of the metro…

Adventure Dates: LA Bound!
We’re going to LA this weekend for the MTV Movie Awards! Tickets from the Brady Center Gala auction (you know, from that time that we were walking around midtown in black tie attire).
Anti gun violence, pro celebrating awesome movies.
This also makes for a great date to celebrate the one year anniversary of this. Dancing and adventuring for one whole year. Woot.
Last night’s impromptu dating assistant planned date…
Some time in the afternoon I asked our dating assistant Holly to plan an impromptu “something for us to do” last night.
Coming from JC and BK to do yoga in the UES, then head to a dive in midtown may not seem like much of an ‘adventure’ to most, but all of that running around and not having known we’d be doing it when we woke up in the morning was kind of fun!
Why wouldn’t we just do yoga somewhere closer to our apartments/office, or get drinks around the yoga studio? We don’t know! We do what Holly says when we give her control of the date. (The best part is that I’ve actually actively avoided doing yoga with Aaron because I get self conscious. Leave it to Holly to force me to finally do it.)
And so, we went from the sweaty of the sweatiest dates to the divey of the diviest bars (which I actually don’t think you should do after Bikram… *shrug*). It was fun, we were into it, and thank god for emergency leotard in my office locker.

Adventure Dates: Key to My Heart at the Coffee Meets Bagel Lock & Key Event!
Coffee Meets Bagel events are among our favorite, not only bc we <3 the founders Arum and Dawoon, but also because they usually have a pretty good theme and we always have fun (like the time we went to their first singles mixer and pretended we had never met)… or get ourselves into a little bit of trouble (like the time Bianca jumped into a fountain in the middle of the room at their Summer Rooftop Party).
The CMB team decided to take it back to NY (since they’ve relocated to SF), to hold a Lock & Key event just in time for Valentine’s Day, at which each guy received a random lock and each girl received a random key upon entry. Guests were then encouraged to meet new people and walk around the room to try to find their match.
We decided to check out the event with our friend Billy (p.s. ladies, he is single- interested interesting parties inquire within). Much to our surprise, when Bianca jokingly tried her key into Aaron’s lock at first try, it immediately opened! Convince that then everyone’s lock must work on everyone’s key Bianca tried hers on a few more and no cigar. Then of course we decided it had to be the CMB team that set it up when we signed in… but they were just as surprised and excited as we were! Woo! So of course celebratory pictures were taken, and many a drink were had. We’re actually going to buy some chains to wear our official lock and key on.
Yay! We did it guys! We’re meant to be!! #love
