Love and Castles… A Valentine’s Day Adventure:
In conversation with Jess Massa (author of The Gaggle) at a recent 7x7 mentoring salon, Bianca discovered that White Castle offered a special valentines day experience for the holiday- complete with table cloths, flowers, and wait service. Apparently these dates are covetable as Jess explained that she had tried to make a reservation for one three years ago but they were completely booked- foiling her plans for the best Valentine’s ever.
Being that one of our previous ‘adventure’ dates was a trip to Taco Bell & a wine store to try the suggested pairing by Gary V on Reddit, we knew we had to do this. Also, Bianca hates Valentines Day and has a long standing tradition of having fast food and wearing black to celebrate… and she loves burgers.
Bianca actually had Holly make one reservation in Queens while Aaron made another in New Jersey (you, know just in case + they were the only two available by proximity to NY) then decided last minute which location would be the lucky date spot. On Feb 14th, 2013 made the trek to Union NJ in search of burgers and love… Like Harold and Kumar (or something like that).
We cozied up in a 2 person table at the front- requested because our our seating arrangement obviously had to be photogenic- and dined under the florescent lights on one of the meal-to-share options on their #lovecastle menu. Bacon and cheese sliders, jalapeño sliders, regular cheese sliders, and fries filled our table, alongside the floating tea candles and artificial flowers (which by no means reflects any artificiality in our love). We even sprung for the Fried Mac n Cheese— because everyone knows that the only way to make comfort food even better is to deep fry it… right guys?
All in all it was an A+ Valentine’s Day. We’re pretty sure this means White Castle is our “place” now.

Sneak Peek at our Winning DJ Moves: How About We Couples Scratch Battle at Scratch Academy
Aaron and I went on a DJ Date to learn how to scratch via HowAboutWe Couples. Of course at the end there was a couples DJ battle… which we won! Yay!!
Here’s a sneak peek of our “winning DJ moves”. Not so sure about how it sounded, but our tactic was basically distracting them with our dancing.

Adventure Date: A Day at the Skydive Ranch
In honor of Felix Baumgartner’s record breaking skydive from space, we thought it would be appropriate to post our skydiving adventure date.
Aaron goes skydiving pretty much every weekend, as he’s trying to get his A license. We constantly talk about how much we value getting to spend time together with our busy and opposite schedules, so rather than being apart while Aaron makes his 6 or so hour trip to the skydive ranch, Bianca decided to tag along one day.
The winds ended up being too strong for Aaron to jump alone as a student, but we still had a ton of fun doing things together on the ground as a couple.
Lunch, bees, people jumping out of planes.some sort of competition, and the coolest denim jacket ever. Such a rush!

Adventure Date Flashback: Lollapalooza 2012
If you can remember, 4 days before Lollapalooza, Bianca mentioned to Aaron that she wished they were going. Of course, Aaron said let’s go. This is that Chicago adventure.
It’s mostly a lot of dancing… on the plane, on the train, at a show, in a lobby, at the festival. There were a ton of setbacks during the trip… including tickets for the wrong date, a thunderstorm shutting down the festival, not getting to meet our dating assistant Holly, Bianca feeling sick, then Aaron feeling sick when Bianca got better.
Nevertheless, it was a great time, because we were together. Much lurv to all the people who made this trip even more fun- Nicky Digital, Bianca’s BFF Leigh & The Jane Doze, BMF Media for all the non-festival events at the Hard Rock Hotel, Tortoise & Blonde, and Mr. & Mrs. Small.

We’re both over 21, but we sort of feel like this list of 21 things to do before you turn 21 sounds pretty fun… so we’re adding it to our list of things we can do together.
Bianca’s birthday is coming up, so maybe we’ll add another 4 things and make it our 25 things to do before Bianca turns 25 (again).
