biancarocksout:

On a more lighthearted note about dating (than this morning’s post)

A boy asked me on a date.
I said whatever we do it has to involve dancing.
His reply was: “There’s lots of ways dancing could be involved. We could take a class, we could break it down at a club somewhere, we could watch dance, we could freestyle in a park with a boom box and collect donations afterwards.”
I picked freestyling in the park, and if we could make $20 we could get drinks after…

I brought the speaker, the playlist, and duct tape.  He brought the cardboard and the sharpie.  We both brought our dancing shoes.

What we thought was just going to be an interesting spontaneous date in which we were possibly “setting ourselves up for failure”, ended up being better than anything we could’ve hoped for.

This is what happened on that date.
